Job Description

Palmer Group is partnering with our Des Moines-based client in their search for a Senior Full-Stack Developer. This individual will be responsible for developing, designing, and maintaining web applications. You will collaborate across the organization to deliver creative solutions while ensuring quality and scalability. Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and maintain web applications 
  • Collaborate with across the organization to gather requirements and deliver solutions
  • Write clean, maintainable, testable, and efficient code
  • Contribute to overall software architecture and design
  • Optimize app scalability and performance through efficient coding and database design
  • Stay up to date on the latest trends and technologies and apply them to improve organizational systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime
  • Participate in agile development processes, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
  • Mentor junior developers, providing guidance and support for their professional growth

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
  • Expert in Laravel, Node, and React.
  • Extensive experience developing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services
  • Knowledge of Tailwind CSS, design systems, and component libraries
  • Experience working with databases, including MySQL and PostgreSQL, and optimizing data retrieval
  • Expertise with version control systems like Git
  • Experience using Docker, writing automated tests, and deploying code using CI/CD pipelines
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to debug complex issues efficiently 
  • Able to communicate at all levels of the organization
